Description
Butaphosphan,organic phosphorus in injectable solution form, enhances the metabolic functions of the body as phosphorus plays an important part of the metabolic process. Phosphorus belongs to the basic constituents of organism, forming part of the phosphoproteins, nucleic acids and enzymes in the form of phosphates and phospholipids. Cyanocobalamin promotes protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism. It helps in formation of red blood cells.
Indications
Tonic and Roborant:
For the improvement of general metabolic disorder such as anorexia, debility, pica, exhaustion, convalescence, weakness, phosphorus deficiency as result of poor nutrition, infertility due to phosphorus deficiency, leaky teats, stunted growth in young animals
Skeletal defects: Rickets, osteomalacia, tetany, as an adjunct to calcium therapy, helps in callus formation after bone fracture(with Vit D).
Tetany and paresis: Disorder in calcium, magnesium and phosphorus metabolism, low milk yield due to phosphorus deficiency.
Uses poultry:
Boosting laying performance and improving egg shell quality
During feather plucking and cannibalism
Improving wait gain and FCR in broiler
Dosage And Administration
For IM/ IV/SC use only
For use in cattle, buffalo, sheep, goat, horses, camel, dog, cat, pig and poultry
Cattle and Horses: 10 – 25 ml
Calf and Foal: 5-12 ml
Sheep and goat: 2.5 – 8 ml
Pig: 2.5 – 10 ml
Dog: 0.5 – 5ml
The dose should be repeated at the interval of 2-3 days till the condition improves. In chronic conditions the doses can be repeated every alternate day.
Poultry: Mix 0.5-2.5ml of injection per liter of drinking water for 4-5 days.

Precautions
Use standard aseptic techniques during the use of injections
Volume of more than 20 ml should be administered into two sites if applied by intramuscular
injection.
Subcutaneous injections should be administered under the skin behind the neck region

Store below 30°C in a dry place, protect from direct sunlight
The maximum number of pricks should not exceed 10.
